Last minute men's outfit as a wedding guest
What do you do if you still don't have an outfit a week before the wedding?
Suddenly the wedding to which you received the invitation card a good six months ago is just around the corner in a week. But you don't know what to wear yet. And of course you don't want to attend your friend's wedding in jeans.
Below we will give you a few tips on how you can put together a chic outfit at short notice, even without buying a new suit.
Look in your closet
If you don't have a suit in your wardrobe or just one that you don't think fits the occasion (for example, a black suit for a casual country summer wedding in a vintage look), don't panic. Even without a suit, you can put together a harmonious and modern outfit.
For example, combine slightly finer trousers or chinos with a white shirt. Add either white/light sneakers or leather shoes. Your chic basic outfit is ready, which you can now enhance a little.
Vest or jacket
If you still have a vest or jacket on hand, you can of course wear it over your shirt. Of course, this is especially useful when it gets a little cooler in the evening. The jacket and vest do not have to be the same color as the trousers. On the contrary: it even looks good here if you choose a darker jacket with light chinos, for example.
Pimp your outfit with accessories
You can now set the accents of the outfit with accessories that match the occasion. Add a bow tie, a pocket square, suspenders or cufflinks to give it a festive character. To stick with the example of the summer wedding, accessories in lighter colors are recommended (mint green, natural colors, old pink, etc.). If the wedding takes place in autumn or winter or in a more formal location, accessories in slightly darker colors are appropriate (burgundy red, dark green, midnight blue, etc.)
